Answers: If you own a plan with att the the internet it have to be unlimited. So yes with that it is free bc of the plan you chose.As long as you are on a AT&T plan purchased surrounded by the US and are not going the prepaid route with the iPhone next you have unlimited internet usage.
Tethering the iPhone to a computer to surf the net is another issue although I have hear of a possible hack that might make that possible, although I am doubtful that it is doable.I dont think you can unless you own an plan call thecompany and ask.
