I have have a family plan at verizon for over two years and want to switch to At&T to seize the iPhone. Charges?

I've had Verizon for over my two year contract. We enjoy three phones on this plan. I want to switch to AT&T so I can get an iPhone. Will I own to pay the $175 charge for respectively of our phones, even though our two year plan is over? (Also, I want to keep our numbers.)

Answers:    No, the $175 is merely for terminating your contract untimely. By law, cell phone companies are required to permit you transfer your number to a spanking new carrier. Just be sure your contract is over because the process of moving your number to AT&T would be considered terminate a contract and will incur the $175 fee if you're not done beside the contract.
Yes, make sure your contract is up and in attendance is no termination fee...I switched to AT&T from Verizon surrounded by July 2007. I did run into a problem myself keeping number but the only apology is because I had the number from formerly I moved to where I live very soon and even though its the same nouns code it wasnt a local number. See AT&T's website to check your number for portability with your closure code--you should be OK.
I've been highly happy near AT&T since I switched. no once u are out of ur original contract u are free to budge where ever near ur number without paying the untimely termination fee. so if its be over 2 years and u havent upgraded or signed a new 2 year afterwards ur free to go.
