18 year old requirements iPhone... but can i pass the credit check?
I of late turned 18, have have my debit card for 5 months now i use it seriously more than cash. I am looking to buy the iphone once i can procure my paws on it. I hear there is a credit check when you cause the phone through itunes. What determines the factors for a credit check for a debit card?
Answers: With credit you should be fine. This exceed April I just get my first credit card- I am 19. I had individual had a debit card since that. And the bank told me I have excellent credit. Just ask AT&T. Though in the store or on iTunes you do not stipulation to give a credit card.
I am not really comfortable how it works thru itunes but I am guessing that you will have to do a credit check thru at&t. I don't really estimate that having a debit card will assistance out your credit card because that is roughly like an electronic check. What credit companies look for is that when you use a credit card you are paying at most minuscule your minimum payments ontime and not going over your credit limit. You don't hold either of these things near a debit card. Credit companies are their so that wireless companies can see if you are paying your bills and the longer you have have a credit card and have stayed current the more it will help out out your credit score. I do not know if you will elapse the credit check our not but I would guess that you may squeak by. when you basically enjoy no credit the company can't just assume you hold good credit because you enjoy no proof of having bleak or good credit. I would read out to try it and you really don't have much to loose. If they decline you, know that it isnt because you enjoy bad credit but because you don't hold enough credit on the other hand to help you out. But remember once you do enjoy credit cards and have bills, pay cheque at least the minimum costs so that you dont start off hurting your credit. Good luck!
If you're merely turning 18 then plan on have to pay a deposit since you don't own credit.
AT&T has be known for asking for deposits range from $100-500. Be prepared to spend at least a thousand bucks to gain the phone and service.
