its available in the grey flea market for 30 thousand Rs in nearly 2 weeks. unlocked and ready to be used within any network.

India may join a league of 6 countries to host an Apple Store selling computers, software, iPod, Apple TV and much awaited iPhone. Japan is the simply country in Asia to hold an Apple Store.
Reliance Retail, which already has an electronics retail endeavour Reliance Digital, may bring the Apple Store to India. Apple Store is a specialised retail outlet which apart from selling Apple products, offer workshops, training and support services.
Though it remains to be see whether Apple would like to turn alone or partner with someone. Also, will it be likely to open Apple Store inside the existing Reliance Digital setup or frame a separate venture for this.
Since Apple would close to its brand equity to get maintain, it would not like its exclusive products to deal in alongside other company’s products of a lower brand value. via

ya it ll be in India soon....HCL or Wipro ll soon be the sole distributors of iphone contained by India...the deal ll be finalished soon mostly in this month...so i think we get to wait for a month or 2 to achieve iphones in India...
