Help me decide if I should buy the iPhone?

Should I bring back the iPhone!? It looks so cool, I really want to buy it, but so many society say that it's flawed. I can still return my video iPod and speakers since it's be less than 90 days - that would gain me about $320 to put towards the phone. I don't really want to keep on for the 2nd generation because that could be another year or so. What do you muse??

Answers:    if you absolutely must own it, I would wait.
Hopefully within a few months, it'll offer better features contained by relation to software, as well as progress down in price. Also some of the potential bugs should be worked out.
