IPhone...?

I have two question. One is how much is it? Two is is it worth it?

Answers:    it is $500 for a 4gb and $600 for a 8 gb
it ONLY works with at&t
and personaly i don't believe it is worth it because it is the first generation so here are going to be many change to it. also because in a year or 2 in attendance is going to be a better and bigger phone out. It will only be relplaced so i wouldn't buy it.

look at this site: http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/hughes/14081
that is to say five reasons NOT to seize an iPhone
Check out the apple.com they show their prices http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/hughes/14081
Someone has already given you the cost. I will freshly mention that I have hear, the phone can only be used within the USA and some of it features can't be used abroad. You should read some reviews give or take a few it. I think you should linger a while to see what the reviews are from users. $500 & 600. YES! It is so kewl!
Cost just as much as a polite laptop, so 600 bucks. And while it has it's biddable points it, also has it's fruitless points. For instance, the battery is not removable and after 400 charges, you will own to send it into Apple to carry the battery fixed. And since it's most imagined you'll have to charge it every hours of darkness, you'll have to distribute it into Apple close to once a year.

And that to me seems stupids, if your going to be spending 600 dollars on it.
Let's be credible here everyone. This isn't new at adjectives. Example: I have a Tungsten T5 PDA. It's a few YEARS hoary. Keep that in mind.

My Tungsten have 128MB built in, and can manipulate CF cards which means I can pop contained by a 4GB card at any time with any notes that I need. I save my 50 favorite songs loaded on my T5 at all times for when I work out, and that's lately the 128MB built-in storage. PDAs play MP3s, and HAVE for years now. Nothing alien there.

The Tungsten T5 also act as a cell phone, since you can pop in a SIM card at any time. You're not stuck near just 1 setting. You can put *any* SIM card surrounded by, so if you have multiple cellular services, they will adjectives work. Just depends on your needs. Nothing latest there any.

The Tungsten T5 is touch-screen. You don't even need a stylus to use it. Fingertips work merely fine. And the screen can flip, so you can spectacle it vertically or horizontally. Nothing new in that.

My Tungsten also came near Lite versions on Word and Excel, so I work beside my files in a pinch if I involve to. However, I usually have my laptop beside me when I'm on the road for business, so I've never have to use these seriously. I've played with them a short time ago because they were here though. I'm not even sure if an iPhone can do that. Nothing new in attendance either.

I've surfed the net a LOT with my Tungsten. I dislike intensely saying it, but it's unflawed for boring meetings. It's so small that not a soul can see you using it. So while some boring speaker is talking something like something that I don't really care going on for, I just sit within the back surfing the pattern and no one even know about it. However, I do it through a Wi-Fi nouns that is built-in. Not through a cell provider. It CAN connect through a cell, but that costs money. If a hotspot is hard by, I just use that. NOTHING NEW THERE. The iPhone doesn't administer you that option.

My Tungsten T5 does NOT enjoy a camera. I've never wanted to filch pictures with my Tungsten anyways. The individual time I would want to is if I've been surrounded by an accident and necessitate to document the damage. I hold a disposable camera in my glove box anywas, simply for that occassion. If I want pictures, I don't want a crappy cellphone camera's pics. I use a Sony Cybershot. HOWEVER, a camera built into a cell-phone is not new. So I guess I can once again say-so... NOTHING NEW THERE.

WIth all of that said, the iPhone is not some clean and innovative gadget by any means. All of this have been offered for YEARS in a minute. YEARS. Apparently though, once it's called a "phone" it become some insane new piece of technology. I guess that's the difference between PDAs and the iPhone. Oh, and the other difference would be price. You can wages $600 for an iPhone, then another $60/mo for deep service. Or you can pay $150 for a right PDA, then use your existing service near it. Apparently it's "HOT" and "TRENDY" to go the $600 route.

"What is it worth?" Within 2 hours of the iPhone going on Dutch auction, people have them on eBay. People were hoping to resell them for a HUGE see of cash, since in attendance was (according to the media) not adequate supply, but a HUGE demand. Hardly any of the eBay iPhones own been sold though. Not frequent people want them. You can see why too. Anyone who truly knows technology know that this isn't something new. It's purely been market like crazy, as a consequence a lot of inhabitants have hear about it. You haven't see many commercials for PDAs though I bet.

SUMMARY: Cost- $600. $60/mo for service through AT&T. If you don't own AT&T, you'll need to seize it. Can't cancel your current cell contract? Oh economically!! Assuming you're rich enough to buy a phone for $600, you should be capable of afford 2 cellular contracts.
WORTH: Store price. No one is paying mega-bucks for it like it's an xBox 360 or a PS3. It's simply a phone, and profoundly of people can't prove paying that kind of money for it. Especially when PDAs enjoy been doing the "iPhone thing" for years already.
around $600
u can only use AT&T for service $300 see iphone knit on top, yes worth it if u can afford it
me i personally dont guess so
think nearly it:
iPhone:499(4 gig) or 599(8 gig)
AT&T Plan: 450( cheapest one) for 2 years=1000
Total: about 1500 or 1600 w/o taxes

so no i dont ponder its worth it. i would get a ipod and a commonplace phone it wont be as much
The phone is roughly $600 dollars. I don't think it is worth the purchase. There are plentifully of high part phones that you can get from your cellular provider that extend similar or better features and may be at reduced cost when you are eligible for discounts. Well, the first reviews are in. But you may enjoy missed some of the more interesting factoids unearthed by the trio of gadget reporters deign worthy by El Jobso to get a pre-launch iPhone. Here's a few fresh n' interesting iPhone facts right sour the presses:

* The mobile version of OS X or doesn`t matter what it is the iPhone runs takes up 700MB of the device's size. Damn son!
* There's no way to cut, copy, or fasten text! WHOA! Big, big mistake.
* No A2DP support. That, friends, is such a huge bummer right within.
* Sorry, music can't be used as a ringtone -- even if it's just a untouched MP3. No additional ringtones will be sold at launch.
* On a PC the iPhone syncs beside Outlook for calendars AND address! Noice.
* It supports Exchange in some dimensions, according to Walt, but he doesn't exactly say how.
* Pogue again confirms document directory reading -- but not editing -- for PDF, Word, and Excel (only).
* Adobe Flash support is officially out. It's merely not in the browser. Neither is at hand any other kind of deep-rooted video support. Sorry everybody, that's that.
* It will take snaps, but won't register video. How can Apple love YouTube as much as it does and not realize cellphone-shot movies make up a sizeable chunk of the crazy crap you find on within?

More after the break!

* Oh, and no MMS. And sorry, no voice dialing, either.
* Contact groups can't be emailed as contact list.
* Apple sez between 300-400 charges the iPhone will lose battery size -- you'll send it surrounded by and get the cell replaced for a charge. Meh. We knew this would be the armour, but still, meh.
* Apple can (and supposedly will) be rolling out periodic updates -- no surprise nearby.
* Battery life is, somehow, almost as mind-blowingly apposite as Apple claims for calls, music, and movies.
* As we suspected, users are prompted next to lists of WiFi networks if you're not proximate a trusted hotspot. We've seen this on other phones, and we're afraid this would attain friggin annoying.
* It's said to be very mark resistant. The facade both front and flipside apparently just doesn't pick up marring approaching regular iPods do.
* Voice quality is said to be virtuous -- not great.
$500 for a 4GB
$600 for a 8GB

It only works for Cingular. It's still a first equals so there's going to be improvements made. Its not G3 capable.
it shouldnt be too expensive, although it is comparatively hard to find
i used this site
http://www.doiop.com/appleiphone

to find locations for where on earth to buy it by entering my email address. i was competent to locate one and buy it a day latter. the iphone is mad nice and im lovin it
I hear the network is reaaaaaaaalllllllly slow. 4gb = 499$
8gb =599$

it is worth it. individuals dont realize that the ipod in the 500$ journal cost 200$ if it was seperate. so it really is with the sole purpose a 300$ phone.
