IPhone Problem.?

I live in Europe and i would approaching to buy an iPhone. The thing is that i read you hold to buy some AT&T thing for it and that you enjoy to activate the iPhone over iTunes by paying $36, but i lately want the iPhone for the music, video and picture thing, so, is near a way i can buy it short the AT&T and the activation process?

Answers:    Nope. You have to capture a 2-year contract with AT&T when purchasing the iPhone. None of the features will work on it until the iPhone is activate. You'll be better off merely buying an iPod Video(especially since you will spend far less money and enjoy MUCH more storage). If you want the iPhone, you'll have to dally until it is released in Europe.

Why not a short time ago buy an iPod instead? Or a chocolate? If you just want the iPhone for the music, video, and picture, you can seize any cell phone that has those things. Cheaper cell phones.
