Answers: well, here within Saudi Arabia. They iPhone has be illegally unlocked, thats what i reason cuz when i was contained by USA, They told me that the iPhone is locked in the middle east, and might never be officaily on public sale in middle east.
and its for $ 1333 for the Arabic variation iPhone and $ 933 for the regular english one.
but i think the problem is if it is unlocked immorally and u update it through the internet, it might get locked again or something.
i one-sidedly don't have the iPhone, i enjoy the LG Prada phone.

The lone thing to study out for is that you need iTunes to sync the iPhone. Because of adjectives the unlocking, Apple and AT&T are constantly updating iTunes to defeat adjectives the unlocking. So if you aren't aware of this after unlocking your iPhone - you'll find that the next time you sync your phone next to iTunes will be your last time. At that point the phone will become useless.
the with the sole purpose iPhone that will be unlocked when purchased is the French version ( due to french regulation )... the iPhone will be sold at a premium price to make up for the subsequent residual revenue loss...
i own no idea where on earth Malta is but see no reason why the iPhone ( or anything ) couldn't be sent to you.
