Answers: The iPhone does requirement a sim card. The sim card is inserted into the top of the iPhone. There is a very small hole right subsequent to the headphone jack. You need to insert a article clip firmly into this hole (I know! It sounds like you are going to break it) and it will eject a small metal covering. You can use a sim card bar the AT&T sim card, but you need to unlock/hack you iPhone to work near other carriers. There are heaps of ways to do this, but I wont dance into this here because this is beyond the scope of your put somebody through the mill.yes it does need a sim card its really nice!!
