I'm indonesian but now I stay surrounded by Germany for 7 months. I'd like to buy an Iphone here, but my friend told me that if I buy surrounded by here, it could NOT be used in Indonesia. is is true?
Answers: I don't know but if you buy one here you'll be tied into an 18 month contract which would be a nightmare surrounded by call charges when you move about back.

I believe you will be able to use it within Indonesia because a lot of populace already have it in that. As long as you can get yourself out of the phone plan it's fine to take one.
