the iPhone is 400 bucks. near is no promotional price that comes with extending your service contract. the merely way you'll capture one for less than 400 bucks right very soon is looking on craigslist or ebay. it is a great phone and the data pack that you have to affix on to your monthly bill actually costs smaller number than the one that you get if you use a blackberry. my monthly bill be $80 with my blackberry pearl and its solely $70 with the iPhone. the biggest complaint almost the iPhone from me is that the battery dies too sudden.
the phone is 399.99 for an 8 GB iphone adn 499,99 for a 16 GB iphone and no near is not discount; but you still have to sign a two year contract to generate the phone. I would buy the iphone and jailbreak it and use it on T-mobile, would be way cheaper and adjectives you would lose is the visual voicemail.
There is no discount for buying an iPhone with or lacking a plan. The 8gb version is $399 and the 16gb is $499.
