What do you think of the iPhone?
do you believe it is going to have adjectives of the media web browsing and tell me everything you chew over of it
Answers: The iPhone has an innovative interface, but thats roughly speaking all it have going for it. It's basically a iPod nano, a mobile phone and a slow internet browser adjectives in one. Don't be deceive by commercials showing a quick internet browsing experience. The iPhone solely uses EDGE technology which is about twice as in haste as dial-up. It's okay for basic webmail and looking up movie times, but using it for google map will be slow and tedious.
There are several mobile phones out at hand that use HSDPA and EV-DO technology (about 5x faster than EDGE) sold by AT&T (yes, AT&T is screwing you over) and Verizon. The really wounded thing is they adjectives cost hundreds less than the iPhone. Just check out the specs and connectivity of a Samsung Blackjack or an AT&T 8525 and compare it to an iPhone. Then look at the price difference.
Personally, I reckon the iPhone is a beautifully package piece of junk. But I generosity it, because for the vast majority of ancestors, this is their first experience with using mobile phones for internet access. Hopefully plenty people will realize how crappy their connectivity is and this will spur nouns of faster and more widespread wireless broadband.
In the meantime, I'll stick to my HTC Advantage.
I suggest it's nifty, especially the touch-screen, but I think it's style too expensive and I don't see it lasting unbelievably long. I'd rather receive a less expensive phone that I know will finishing a long time and doesn't have to use Cingular.
I own to agree that EDGE sucks, basically it is close to using a modem through the cellphone.
I have be using the Blackjack for the last 6 days, since my antediluvian Blackberry 8700 died suddenly. Anyway, Blackberry uses EDGE, and now that I own compared the Internet speed of the Blackjack, it is ten times better.
The iphone will be using EDGE, which it is a surprise for me, since there are profoundly of good expectations from the iphone.
As an internet gadget, the iphone might be slower than what you might regard. I hardly believe that you will know how to stream movies/music since EDGE has not the dimensions to do so. (Only 3G)
The next contemporaries of the iphone might come in roughly speaking a year or two, then I will expect to see the iphone be more practised of video/music streaming, and using all its potential beside a more competitive price.
I think it's hideously over-priced AND over-rated. If it works HALF as slick as it does on the commercials, it STILL won't be worth it.
I HATE PHONES!! too plentiful bill collectors..
I think it is tight but it cost to much for one phone and offer it 1 or 2 years and its going to be about 200dolllars.
Well, since i WON one. lol
its gonna be awesome. i plan im lucky i won it.....
It's a complete waste of money. It's worth roughly $300, even though they are trying to sell it for $600. It have the same features as my Cingular 8125, which retails for $200. It plays music, surf the internet, receive e-mail, whip pictures, view pictures.
Besides the iPhone mortal expensive, if you want to utilize all those features, you are going to be paying some steep usage fees because alot of those features are trellis based, such as the YouTube fact.
I would not recommend it. I would wait until prices come down.
Too much hype.
