IPhone battery interview?

I think I made a mistake by not charging my iPhone fully after debut it from the box and now it doesn't charge adjectives the way up. My cousin say I should drain the battery fully and afterwards charge it for a while to reformat it or something like that. Do you suppose this will help? Any accepted wisdom excet for exchanging it for a new one?

the iPhone battery is fresh technology. draining and topping off neither minister to nor hurt.

However, some iPhones are LEMONS, several different battery problems. My first have a battery charge problem. It be cheerfully replaced by Apple.

That might relief..its worth a shot. Also do not use your iPod charger to charge the iPhone, this damages the battery. Your friend is thinking of the aged days of NiCad batteries that would develop charging memory. This isn't true for Li-Ion battery.
