Can video calls be made on the iphone?

Is it knowledgeable of making video calls?

Answers:    Most probably not, no, for the following 3 reason:

1. If there be such a feature, Apple would put it on their website along near all of the other amazing features intended to impress potential customers. (See http://www.apple.com/iphone if you want to look for yourself!)

2. A number of sources state that the iPhone will not be a 3G phone, which medium that it doesn't have such capability. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3G for more info about 3G capabilities)

3. If you've see an image of the iPhone, or watch the MacWorld Keynote, you'll notice that there's one camera, on the rear legs. Now - it'd be pretty difficult to make a video give the name if the screen's on one side and the camera's on the other, wouldn't it?

Even if it could, you wouldn't want to. The iPhone will enjoy only EDGE notes service which is just slightly faster than your average 56k dialup modem. The christen quality on a video beckon would be less than gratifying.

It's unclear if such a ability will be available using the built in wireless network.
