How is the iPhone expected to do? I have hear good or impossible reviews, what is it really ?

Answers:    well, I can't speak for everyone, but here are my thoughts:
race will like it, because they close to their ipods, but will be put off initially because of the price and/or that they might enjoy to switch over to cingular.

once the price drops, I can see it becoming popular, but I really doubt that it will take the place of the standard ipod for everyone: restricted memory. only 4 or 8 gigs of space may be well-mannered for some people, but I own over 26gigs, so it wouldn't work.
well, if you ask me, it's a knockoff of the smartphone.

BlackBerry (RIM) made the first one
Palm (Handspring put money on then, it be seperate form the old Palm) enhanced it by adding a genuine PDA to it (that used Palm OS)
Other companies adapted it to run Windows Mobile/CE

Now, Apple wants a share by adapt it to run OSX, and is calling it "revolutionary" when it really isn't. Sure it has a latest user interface design, but other than that, zilch new at adjectives!
you really can't judge it to much since its not even released but, but it does look impressive, decide for your self go to apple.com
