Apple selling 3G iphone (Non contract) 8gb for 500 and 16gb 700! wtf is it too pricey!?
that's 200 more than non 3g, for the feature it has i don't cogitate it worth especially since it can't record video same old 2 megal pixel no flash, i reflect on just over price you think?

Non-contract. The only time you compensate for $599 and $699 is if you want to not go in a two year agreement near AT&T.
$399 and $499 is if you are going to sign a two year contract and aren't eligible for upgrade (that's the same as the original iPhone).
$199 and $299 are if you are brand new to AT&T or are eligible to upgrade.
And you know what? If you care so much about a appropriate camera on a phone, then don't even think in the region of an iPhone.
It's overpriced if you're looking at cameras.
If you didn't know, the majority of people don't care in the region of the camera quality...
Especially since the iPhone is the only phone that can run Quake, Bioshock, Spore, etc.

The reason it is so expensive without the contract is because when you do not use AT&t's service afterwards apple does not get any money out of the deal that they hold with them for services. e.g. the internet, email
If you buy it with a contract next it is only 200 for the 8 gb.
um...actually it is only $199.00 for a 8gb and $399.00 for a 16gb. u dont requirement to have a new contract, in recent times as long as you have at&t already and are eligible for an upgrade...otherwise i think you entail to have a contract. AND IT IS HALF THE PRICE OF THE 1 AND 2G IPHONE,,,,PLUS IT IS TWICE AS FAST WITH NEW UTILITIES SUCH AS GPS AS WELL AS THE STOCKS, WEATHER, MAPS, NOTES,ETC. It comes out on July 11 2008 and im buying it even tho i wasnt interested in buying an iphone until that time they announced coming out with the new 3g iphone for lone 199!
