Can i downgrade my at&t wireless plan when i buy an iphone?
i currently have a 59.99 plan with att&t and i found out that it will cost an extra 30 per month when i buy my iphone (so 89.99 per month).
a bit than doing it this typical way, can i request to instead take the 69.99 iphone plan?
i hold had my current motorolla phone with at&t/cingular for almost 3 years- and i enjoy had this rate plan for 8 years.

Yes you can. You can always run up or down in your rate plans without any problem near AT&T. The service agreement, if you have one, is for the device only, not your rate plan.
