Has anyone in reality bought an iphone?
Despite the media frenzy, hype and advertising over it, I still haven't see anyone use one in public.

my friend has one and his works fine and its pretty sweet, i've see him do just about everything on at hand.
Quite a few of my friends own bought one and think they're the bees knees. I don't think it's any surprise that sale were not as high as expected due to the giant initial price but apparently the recent price drop has made a huge difference and the 8GB version is presently flying off the shelves.
So if you haven't yet see anyone using one in public, I have a fear you may start to see some appear in the very in the neighbourhood future.
Why would anyone buy an i phone ? Its out of date over expensive and tied to one contract dally for the Iphone gen 2 or get a Palm or blackberry !
i know alot of people who enjoy iphones, 4/7 of them got it free. they are well chuffed near the functions etc.

conceivably its not yet "officially" released on your location? maybe its for mart on your location but they are "UNLOCKED" units. Unlocking I believe involves the Hardware and the software of the phone. It's a BIG risk to buy a "tweaked" phone. So people are somewhat circumspect before paying that much money for it!
