I currently have a 2-year contract with AT&T that I started within December of 2007. I thought that I would be able to get the different iPhone on July 11 if I just sign a new 2 year contract. However, I call AT&T and they told me I could not buy the new iPhone for $199 until August of 2009. Otherwise, I would have to clear the full price of the new iPhone. Are there any other option I have so that I can get the untried iPhone?
