There's be no information regarding purchasing the iphone outright. You may have to hang around until July 11th to find out. Right now, the 2nd generation iphone is selling anywhere from $398.00 to $600.00 on Ebay unlocked, and Im sure once the 3G comes out, that price will dive.
However, Im thinking for those of us who already own a voice plan, the cheapest way in the extension will be the buy the phone on ebay (unlocked) and then just insert our sim card...you'll know how to use all the functions with the exception of ocular voicemail, which really is no biggy. It's got wireless capability, so not simply can u use it in your house if you are set up for wireless, but anywhere u can access a wireless connection. And that is to say free because you arent using Rogers data plan to do it.
