How to convince my parents to tolerate me procure an Iphone?
I am 14 years and haven't got a phone in two years. I saw that the topical IPhone 3GB is $199 and thought it was not a bad price for a phone similar to that. The Iphone is really cool and it may be really useful to me. I have be a Straight A student for the whole 8th grade. I own been behaving okay in school and working complex. How do I convince my parents to get an IPHONE !?
Answers: I have to agree beside niiro13. In the long run, the phone (monthly) is expensive.
It's great that you're a straight A student and that you're doing well in academy, but if you're really trying to convince your parents for the phone: try coming up with a deal (saving up your allowance/money from a job/etc. and paying for a portion of it; getting a assignment to pay part of the monthly plan, etc.). Let them know that you're enormously serious about buying this phone and that you're willing to do anything your parents want for it. Keeping your room consistently clean, cleaning the bathroom, your garage, etc. Sucking up, show your parents that you can handle responsibilities contained by your household. Once they recognize that sense of responsibility, they might see that you can handle the responsibility of an iPhone. However, stay cool; and hang on to it rational.
If all else fail consider looking into these cheaper alternatives. They're not exactly like the iPhone, but they're pretty cool and really useful:
Pantech Duo (AT&T), T-Mobile Sidekick LX, T-Mobile Sidekick Slide, LG Vu (AT&T), Samsung Instinct (Sprint), AT&T Tilt.
The 3G iPhone is more expensive than the first iPhone contained by the long run (especially since you're required to stick with it for two years).
Other than using the examples you provided, there's really nothing you can do.
