I simply bought an iphone and call for help out beside the "edge"?
I have tmobile and do not want to be using Edge network, which I believe is costing me money, is near a way to disable any use of the Edge network on the iphone?
Also, how do I upload pictures from the computer to the phone...?

The iPhone runs on the EDGE net, so if there is no EDGE network, consequently you can't really do anything on your iPhone except use it as an iPod. You can turn it off by setting your iPhone into "airplane mode", but you won't be able to call/text/use safari/ or anything.
The "Airplane Mode" phase is located under the "settings" menu.
You add pictures by creating a folder surrounded by "My Pictures", adding the pictures you want on your iPhone to it, then crack iTunes, connecting your iPhone, go to photos, then it will endow with you options on how to manage photos and where on earth to obtain photos from, and you will select the folder you made and put the photos you want in.
