If I buy an IPhone contained by U.S...How can i unlock it so that it can work next to my Airtel Sim contained by India?

Please can you give me the complete procedure to unlock it..i need it urgently..

Answers:    i would not do it if i be you. america operates on a much older mobile technology. since they be the first ones to get mobile phone service, they have have trouble upgrading, while others like india who joined the mobile service much subsequent were able to start near newer technology.
You would need a TurboSIM to unlock the iPhone 3G. But it makes no sense trying as the 3G is locked to AT&T who have you sign a 2 year contract before you are allowed to leave next to it.
