So i hear that AT&T will force contract customers to activate their phone before they even check out of the store!! Is this just for the people who buy the phone on plan? or does it also apply to the individuals who want to just buy the phone as is? Also im from canada and looking to buy the phone bring home and unlock it, but will this even be possible? is there anyway around AT&T's dumb plan?
Answers: yeah i know its bs isnt it? economically, what i did when the first iphone came out i activated beside att and then called att and canceled. they asked me if i returned it and i be like uhh.yeahh...sure did. all i have to pay was the $35 activation duty and like $15 for my monthly bill since i only used it for a few days. im going to do it again when this one comes out. i enjoy also seen that they have already unlocked variation 2.0 on the old iphone, it might be different on the tentative iphone because of some of the hard ware changes.
