Last night, my iphone slipped from my hand and fell into some water. Drying it bad as quickly as I can, I removed the sim card and then cursed myself something fierce. Now, have looked online, I've learnt that the iphone is not replacable under water-damage. But they say that the phone have an indicator (in the head-phone jack) that turns red once affected by water. On my phone, it isn't red.Now, should I allow more time for my iphone to dry out? Most suggest sticking it in rice. If so how long to I want to put it in for?If the indicator isn't red, surely they'd still replace it?
