How do you dispatch contacts from iphone to computer?
Apple is replacing my current phone and i need to know how to send all my contacts to my computer because i hold over 400 people.

If you have Windows, you can sync your contacts to Outlook 2003 or 2007, Windows Address Book(if you have XP), Windows Contacts(if you hold Vista), Yahoo Address Book, or Google Contacts. If you have a Mac You can sync them with Address Book, Yahoo Address Book, or Google Contacts.
The first step is to make sure you hold the latest version of itunes istalled on your computer. If you do not have itunes jump to www.apple.com/downloads and click on the download for itunes 8. Once you have the latest version of itunes installed, plug your phone into the computer. When your phone is scheduled on the left hand side of the itunes menu under the heading Devices, click on the phone to point up it and bring up the summary screen. You should see information about your phone listed on this page. At the top of the pane, you will see about 8 tabs: Summary, Info, Music, etc. Click on the Info tab. At the top there is a check box that say Sync contacts with _____ and there is a drop down menu that will allow you to select one of the programs that I listed above to sync your contacts to. If you are not sure if you enjoy Outlook or if you have Outlook Express(not the same as Outlook, a common misconception) select to sync beside Windows address book or Yahoo or google. Window Contacts is the new name for windows address book contained by Vista. Once you have selected where to sync your contacts to, click on sync or apply(wichever appears) contained by the lower right hand corner of the itunes window. All your contacts will be stored to the program you selected and you will be capable of view them there to verify that they did sync to your computer.
When you get the replacement phone, connect it to your computer and itunes will provide you a message stating an iphone has been previously synced with this computer would you resembling to restore from the backup of (your iphones name). Select to restore from the back up(unless the tech agent you spoke with said not to) and all your information will be wager on on your phone.
