I recently bought an unlocked jailbroken 1st generation iphone, and it was adjectives working fine until I decided to muck around with it. After testing everything I have forgotten to remove the passcode. After trying to sync it with itunes, the screen stays permanently fixed to a picture showing the nouns cable leading to itunes. When i connect the iphones to itunes (which is what the picture suggests), itunes say "iTunes could not connect with the iPhone "Iphone" because it is locked near a passcode. You must your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with itunes". Except all I can do is manufacture emergeancy calls, I can't even alter the settings. I took it to an apple shop and they refused to help, clich¨¦ that the phone shoudln't have been unlocked, and was never intended for Australia, however it was working before. HELP PLEASE!!

Get help from the store you bought it from, not Apple. Apple is against unlocking and jail-breaking because it is illicit because of copyright infringement.
