Is in that a phone better than iPhone?
Anyone know of a phone that's better than the iPhone? I'm shopping for a new phone and I can't decide between getting a new iPhone or trying something else.

The only instrument we can answer this question for you, is if you tell us how you define the residence 'better'. Every phone is aimed at a different market, and there is not one phone that meets every ones wants. you could have 12 answers saying that this phone is better then the iphone, and adjectives the answers would be correct, because people define the term 'better' differently.
I mark out the term 'better' as having the most features for the price. I would sacrifice features for a price. So for my needs, the nokia n82 is a much better phone. You can pick a investigational one up for $280.
Its a two year old phone, has a basic lcd eyeshade, but the fanfare on this phone is high.

If your budget is near the price of an iphone, there are a few phones much better than iphones. There are abundantly of phones that are a whole lot better than the iPhone! People just keep buying iPhones because it is the "coolest" product on the flea market. iPhones are very FAR fro being smart-phones and are overpriced. People who buy iPhones are the kind of relations who want a low-tech, overpriced phone. Besides, getting Apple products is such a hassle. You have to back it up, sync it, etc.
If you could wait a few more months, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and LG are releasing phones that are better than the iPhone.
If you can't dally, I suggest getting the Nokia N96 or the Nokia N85.
