Is me getting the iphone 3GS worth it?

I have a 3GS. And also have a bunch of friends near 3GS'...they all love it, and I do as well. Only one of my friends had to trade surrounded by for a new one because his over heated sometimes, but hasn't had problems since they sent him a new one. But I also hear that Apple has fixed this problem, not quite sure of that as of this moment, but out of my 5 friends and I that own them, only one of us have problems. So I would say GO FOR IT! It's the most amazing phone I've ever owned, you will not be disappointed!

Do you have an iPhone already?
Do you really need an iPhone?
If you already have an iPhone 3G consequently it is not worth the exact money the upgrade. All you are getting is video capture with a better camera and a faster device which has appearently have reports of over heating.
I would only advise you to acquire the iPhone 3GS if your service provider allows you to do a hardware upgrade and they give you credit/discount to purchase it.
The iPhone 3GS has a video capture mode and also the processor is twice as hurried as the iPhone 3G and it has twice as much RAM. It also supports OpenGL 2 for games with better graphics.
If you think specifically worth the extra cash, then yes.
Depends. If you're just looking to get an iPhone, any the 3G or 3G s would work, but the 3G S will be much faster. If you already have an iPhone 3G, then the upgrade isn't necessary, but could be adjectives if you want more speed and less crashes.
It depends on what you want out of a phone and whether you can comfortable afford the monthly plan.
For me, the iPhone is hands-down the best phone I've ever had.
