Is the unusual iphone sdk 3.0 FREE?

i just downloaded it
i was asked to sign up for the apple developer thing
do i enjoy to pay for it?
i mean, they didn't ask me for my credit card number
but i am worried that i have lately spent 99 dollars for no reason.

If you have an iPhone it is for free. But if you enjoy iPod Touch you have to pay around something like $10.00 Source(s): iPhone 3G owner. Going to put on the market it, if any one wants to buy, just ask me :)

The SDK is free however if you want to publish your apps and do on device testing of your created apps you have to purchase a developer description and that is $99/year. So, you didn't accidentally buy it or get it special, it's a free SDK.
