I Just Jailbroke My iPhone 3G OS 3.0 And Now My Mic Is Screwed Up!?

I Have To Literally Put My Mouth Right Next To The Mic And The Quality Of It Sucks! If My Phone Is On My Cheek[Like You Would Position Your Phone If You Were Holding It Against Your Cheek], You Cant Hear Anything! What Happened?!?! What Do I Do?
