The 3GS is 199.99 for the 16GB and 299.99 for the 32GB and it's $30 for the data plan and afterwards extra for text messaging. You'll know you have the internet because it'll probably have a 3G at the top or some big-hearted of icon representing internet and also when you browse you'll be able to use the internet so that will tell you also :)
