IPhone 3G - NOT 3G??
How come sometimes i see a 3G (like its suppose to be) at the top of my phone, and yet sometimes the 3G symbol disappears?

You can only use the 3G when you are surrounded by an area that has 3G coverage. Sometimes you will be contained by an area that does not have this type of coverage, when this happen the 3G symbol will disappear.
