Iphone 3g questionn?
ok i have t-mobile right now..and im getting the unknown iphone on the 11th..but i was wondering,can i still keep my number next to t-mobile for the iphone
when the iphone comes out on friday, you have to buy the phone WITH a 2 year contract with AT&T. for the launch, they're not letting you buy a moment ago the phone for the price of $199. i think it's about $600 or so for merely the phone.
if you are switching to at&t, you can port your # from tmobile to at&t, but if ur staying with tmobile..you cannot unlock the 3g iphone. u can unlock the 1st generation iphone near tmobile though. i have one unlocked with tmobile. even if u could unlock the 3g iphone, it would be almost pointless. the big piece with the 3g iphone is the 3g technology, which makes it hastily (internet), and tmobile doesn't have that..so u wouldn't get it. and u hafta produce the 3g iphone in store with at&t, and if u don't, the cheapest one to buy it outright is $599. you can return with the 1st generation iphone though. they no longer sell it surrounded by stores, so if u got it, u would hafta get it sour craigslist.org or ebay. i hope that helps & if you have any other question about it, feel free to email me.
