Iphone 3g restoring firmware?
Hi folks i have a jailbroken iphone 3g running on 2.0.2 (5C1) firmware. I have just now decided to take the phone put money on to apple and get my money back due to sure reasons. I restored my iphone this morning to remove all the third jamboree apps and any of my information. The thing is when i check the version surrounded by settings it still says im running on 2.0.2 (5C1) which is a custom firmware. How do i remove this? Im downloading itunes 8 and upgrading it to 2.1 firmware. Will this remove the (5C1) i am getting. Thanks to all who answer surrounded by advance.
