IPhone examine?
The iphone is being released in Canada subsequent month... and the reason I've held off on buying a blackberry or other such PDA is that most don't come near wi-fi access and the data plans in Canada are expensive. Will I be capable of access the internet with my iphone at home with my wireless internet access (or starbucks, etc.) or will I also requirement to purchase some kind of data plan through my phone provider (Rogers)? and if I can access through wi-fi at home.. am my competent to save maps (google for example) and progress back to them for later mention when i'm out of my wi-fi range?
yes, you can get wi-fi on ur iphone, anywhere that have Wi-fi, and you cannot save maps from google, but idk more or less plans, in the US, you have to return with a contract with AT&T, what used to be cingular, and no one else handle the IPhone, but thats here in the US...
