I can't turn on my iPhone 3G. When I pressed the turn on button, only the Apple icon is shown and it remains nearby. I tried to reboot it many times, but the problem is not solved. Can somebody help me out here?

hey ya! this happened to me too twice! its called the apple logo of departure!
what you have to do is plug it into a different computer than you usually sync it to and reset it to its factory settingsYou may have to restore the phone. Connect the phone to your computer, and begin iTunes. Hold down BOTH the lock button on top and the home button for 10 seconds and then release ONLY the top button. After almost 6 - 10 seconds, iTunes will recognize the phone again and you will be surrounded by restore mode. Just click restore and after its done doing its thing you should be good to travel. How long have this been happening? If you are intensely panicky then i suggest you bring it to the company you got it from and ask them.. But still you should bring it to them and draw from it fixed if they can fix it or you can ask if you can get it replaced.i have it thats happen before just present i t a while and let it die, or turn on by itself. if no tthen hold the sleep button and home button. any questions??
