you'll be imprisonedat hand are some features that you cannot use, I have my Iphone set up with t-mobile and it works theres somethings u purely need the at&t plan for though. Nothing happens. You just own a phone you can't use. Or you could always connect it with At&t's prepaid. Requires NO CONTRACT. My neighbor have his like that. If you buy the iphone at the apple store it comes with no contract it's up to you to prompt the phone.
