Where to buy an iPhone 3G (AT&T OR APPLE)?
Hello. I was wondering if it was better to buy an iPhone from the Apple store.. i live 20 minutes away from one.. or the AT&T store. If i buy it from Apple they won't ask me roughly speaking my AT&T account (OR DO THEY?) this way i dont hold to pay the 175 dollars to cancel my current contract beside at&t.. (OR DO I?) is it just like i travel to the apple store pick up the iPhone 3G and pop in my AT&T sim or will the iphone tell me i have need of to start a new contract and get the unlimited background plan .. ANOTHER THING.. does the Apple Store have more 3G iPhones or will AT&T... Does the apple store have a Midnight passage or something... for the 3G iphone.. Will there be AT&T people at the apple store on release morning?? Im only 15 can i lie and somehow return with my own cell phone plan?? (Not pay as you go) Im already on a family plan beside AT&T with my step dad.. how would i go roughly getting UNLIMITED DATA for just me.. does the data plan come near text messages?? How much would Unlmted Txt and Data cost together?

I would get one on ebay immediately. Just a thought. When they come out, they will be sold out so fast it will be crazy. Also, then you can set in motion yourself, instead of having At&T do it.

Well, AT&T have a new policy with the 3G iPhone, whereby you hold to mandatorily activate the iPhone in their store. You cannot set in motion it using the iTunes application. They are doing this to prevent unlocking, and to help out some novice customers. Hence, I would recommend you to progress to the AT&T store.

You get ZERO texts near the unlimited 30$ data plan. Add 10$ to get 1500 text, or add $20 to get unlimited text, so the cheapest monthly bill you can get with unlimited text is going to be 90$+tax. I don't think you can get your own plan unless you are atleast 18, I believe. I'm not sure which store will enjoy more, but I'm looking to wait in strip. Probably at the Apple store is the better bet because they may not require you to activate it there since iTunes is most promising going to continue being the source for restoring and reactivating. Eithor process, it does not matter if it is activated on the spot or not if adjectives you are looking for is a jailbreakable iPhone 3G. If you want another cell carrier though then I'm not too sure. Supposedly you enjoy three days to try AT&T with a new contract next quit with them if you want? I'm not sure of all the details. All I know is jailbroken white iPhone 3G FTW!
I do hold my own question though if anyone knows... :I know from the AT&T released statement that it say that the upgrade for current iPhone users will maintain the price of 199 and 299, but do we need to present our 2G iphones to them at the store? What if I want to trade mine and use a cheap Nokia phone for a week or two, is that ok? Questions questions questions.
